About

My name is Tavon Forrest. I am 22 years old, and I attend the Package and Graphic design program at Humber College Lakeshore. From a young age I knew I had a passion for art. I was always interested in the composition of type and graphical elements. I believe that design is the bridge that can overcome any obstacle. It doesn’t matter what language you speak. A well designed product is able to communicate everything you need to know quickly and effectively. I am also extremely passionate about the world of packaging. In my years at Humber I’ve been taught to think in a 3-Dimensional space and be cognizant of current trends in the retail market. This gives me an edge over graphic designers because I’ve been taught to consider substrate, cost, printing methods, and a myriad of other factors when creating my designs.
